Akādmī Adabiyāt I Pākistān: HMML Repository
Akādmī Adabiyāt-i Pākistān
The Pakistan Academy of Letters is a national institution working for the promotion of Pakistani literature and the welfare of Pakistani writers. With the help of a fund provided by the National Heritage & Culture Division, they established the Collection of Manuscripts and Old Books in 2024. A national level committee of experts was formed, which after assessing the manuscripts and old books received from the collectors, presented its recommendations for purchase to the chairperson of the Pakistan Academy of Letters. Some renowned researchers and scholars also donated their collections to the academy. The collection currently contains approximately 200 manuscripts and rare books in Persian, Panjabi, Urdu, Arabic, Turkish, Sanskrit, Hindko, Pashto, and English.
