This is the library of the Djinguereber Mosque, a mosque and madrasah in Tombouctou (Timbuktu) that dates back to the 14th century. Also known as the Maktabat al-Imām al-Suyūṭī bi-Timbuktū (مكتبة الإمام السيوطي بتمبكتو), its collection of manuscripts was photographed by HMML in cooperation with the Endangered Libraries In Timbuktu (ELIT) project of the Endangered Archives Program (EAP).
