Kanīsat al-Ṭāhirah al-Dākhilīyah (al-Qalʻah)
Kanīsat al-Ṭāhirah al-Dākhilīyah (al-Qalʻah) is a Syriac Orthodox church located in the al-Qalʻah District in the center of old Mosul, and dedicated to Mary al-Ṭāhirah (“the immaculate”). The collection is largely liturgical, mostly written in Syriac, with some Arabic Garshuni. Most of the manuscripts date from the 18th-20th centuries. These East Syriac manuscripts were digitized in partnership with Centre Numérique des Manuscrits Orientaux (CNMO). Collection consists of liturgical books.
