Kanīsat Al Ṭāhirah Al Khārijīyah: HMML Repository
Kanīsat al-Ṭāhirah al-Khārijīyah
Kanīsat al-Ṭāhirah al-Khārijīyah is a Syriac Orthodox church located on the northern edge of old Mosul, dedicated to Mary al-Ṭāhirah (“the immaculate”). The collection is largely liturgical, mostly written in Syriac, with some Arabic Garshuni. It includes several older manuscripts, including four from the 13th century, all likely copied by the same scribe. These East Syriac manuscripts were digitized in partnership with Centre Numérique des Manuscrits Orientaux (CNMO).
