Dabra Tābor Iyasus Church: HMML Repository
Dabra Tābor Iyasus Church
Tradition says that this circular stone church was founded by Emperor Sayfa Arʻad in the 14th century. Recent scholarship suggests that it may have been founded much later. Rās Gugsā Marsā endowed this church and his descendant Rās Gugsā Wale helped reconstruct the church and sponsored its wall paintings.
