Dabra Libānos Monastery

Established in the early 14th c. by Takla Hāymānot, one of the most revered Ethiopian saints, Dabra Libānos, located 100 km north of Addis Ababa, is one of the largest and most important monastic centers in Ethiopia. Including more than two dozen volumes of archival records, its valuable library reaches a total of approximately 200 manuscripts, around half of which were microfilmed by the EMML.
