Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Bremen

The state and university library in Bremen has roots going back to the 17th c. HMML filmed 248 manuscripts dating from the 10th to the 17th c. These include theological and legal texts, as well as literary and historical works. Most manuscripts come from libraries in and around Bremen, with two larger collections being manuscripts belonging to Melchior Goldast von Haiminsfeld (1578-1635) and the collection from the cathedral of Bremen.The medieval manuscript collection will be digitized by the Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Bremen in 2020-2022.
