Zurāmbā Monastery: HMML Repository
Zurāmbā Monastery
Tradition states that this monastery was founded during the reign of the Aksumite king Gabra Masqal. The monastery has received land grants from many Ethiopian rulers over the centuries and is home to a beautiful manuscript collection. EMML microfilmed just a few manuscripts in this collection.
