Stift St. Florian
Founded in 1071 and dedicated to Saint Florian, this monastery of Augustinian Canons Regular is the oldest surviving Augustinian house in German-speaking countries. One of the first libraries visited by HMML staff, 545 manuscripts dating from the 9th to 17th c. were photographed.
